Apr 17: I have been notified of the sad news of Mary Lou McGee's death. It happened on Thursday, April 13th. Those who worked with RECongress and the Office of Religious Education knew her. She was the former RECongress Coordinator (2004), MaryLou worked in the Office of Religious Education and for the Department of Catholic Schools for many, many years. Her funeral mass will take place Friday, April 21st at 10:00 am - St. Jude the Apostle Church in Westlake Village. Please keep Mary Lou's family in your prayers. Thank you, Tina and Dave Lavendier, for letting us know about this sad news. Mary Lou was an engaging and funny person. She will be dearly missed.

See the Performance Stage ScheduleThis Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, as called for by Pope Francis, has inspired many people already and given the Church great energy moving into the next year. It had a great impact on our work in preparation for Congress 2017. The jubilee year, along with Pope Francis' encyclical on the environment, sparked some wonderful creativity in our liturgy preparations. Our hope is that the liturgies of Congress may be a Spirit-filled encounter with Christ Jesus and a celebration of the life of the Church. We invite you to experience a liturgy from among the many cultures represented.
