The Early Years of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) Institute
(preceding the "Religious Education Congress")
EARLY INSTITUTE – Cardinal James Francis McIntyre celebrates Mass in 1962 for one of the early religious education institutes. The Closing liturgy was held in the auditorium of Immaculate Heart College for religious and lay catechists of the archdiocese.
EARLY WORKSHOP – When first religious institutes were held at Immaculate Heart College, small workshops met in classrooms on campus. Today, workshop are held in conference rooms and surrounding hotels for thousands.
