DATES
The 2008 Los Angeles Religious Education Congress dates are:
     •  February 28, 2008 (Note: There is no on-site Youth Day registration)
     •  February 29 - March 2, 2008 (Congress days)

LOCATION
Congress is held at the Anaheim Convention Center, located at 800 West Katella Ave. in Anaheim, Calif. (just across from Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure).
 
REGISTRATION
Not registered? You can still register on site at Congress. Registrations and ticket pick-up can be done at the Registration Booth. Hours are:
Thursday, February 28 - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Friday, February 28 -- 8:00 - 3:00 pm
Saturday, March 1 -- 8:00 - 3:00 pm
Sunday, March 2 -- 8:00 - 1:00 pm

SACRED SPACE
 
Returning for its fourth year, Sacred Space will be housed in Convention 304 (on the third level). Take a break from the bustle of Congress's events and enter a space dedicated to facilitating a sense of peaceful reflection and spiritual rejuvenation. Our Sacred Space will offer the Labyrinth, a Chapel, Eucharistic Adoration, Sacrament of Reconciliation, St. John's Bible Project Display, live musical performances and art works.
 
Sacred Space scheduled hours are:
Friday and Saturday -- 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday -- 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
 
Scheduled times for the the Sacrament of Reconciliation are:
Friday and Saturday -- 11:30 am - 1:30 pm & 2:30 - 3:30 pm

WORKSHOP RECORDING
 
CSC Digital Media will offer recordings of workshops on Audio CDs and cassette tapes. All workshops marked by asterisk (*) or the headphone symbol are being recorded with the speaker’s permission. You may order recordings during Congress by visiting the CSC booth located at the east wall of Exhibit Hall A or after Congress from the link on our site -- archive.recongress.org/tapes. NOTE: Delegate recording of any workshop or general assembly is not permitted.

"Can I still register for Congress?" -- Yes! You can register on site in Anaheim any of the three days of Congress. The Registration Booth will be located in the Prefunction Lobby near the main entrance to the Convention Center. At Congress you will automatically receive either English-only or Spanish-only sessions.
 
Arena Sessions are the most popular English-language workshops in each period. If you request English-only or Arena-only workshops, you will receive the following assigned sessions. The asterisk (*) indicates a recorded session. NOTE: Any workshop ticket is good for an Arena or Hall B session.

PARKING
Day parking is available in the Convention Center parking structures at the rate of $10 per day with no in-and-out privileges.

FOOD / CONCESSIONS
The Anaheim Convention Center offers daily options of food choices in Hall A and the Arena Lobby.
Continental breakfast: 8:00 am - 9:30 am
Lunch: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Cart concessions: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS
In addition to our listing in the Program Book (pages 80-81; available online at archive.recongress.org/2008/guidebook.htm), there is a Restaurant Booth, located in the Prefunction area, which has restaurant menus and can help make reservations: Hours are:
Friday & Saturday: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
