YOUTH DAY

Youth Day registration is separate from Congress registration. The fee is $25 ($20 before January 5, 2008). NOTE: Youth Day has closed to new registrations. Check the Youth Day page for more information.

A SPECIAL INVITATION FOR ADULTS:  The Youth Day Coordinating Team would like to offer a special opportunity to any adult who is not chaperoning a group from a parish or school and would like to be part of our day. The Youth Day Moving Crew is a group of youth-friendly adults who join us and help guide groups with information and instructions throughout the day. To be part of the Moving Crew, an adult needs to have been fingerprinted by the Los Angeles Archdiocese and have taken part in a Protecting God’s Children adult training session (upcoming opportunities for these are available). To get more information about joining Youth Day’s Moving Crew, please visit archive.recongress.org/YD or contact Mike Norman at mnorman@laarchdiocese.org or call (213) 637-7674.

ATTENTION GROUP LEADERS:  Official Youth Day T-Shirts are available for group pre-orders. Orders with payment must be received by February 15, 2008 and will be available for pick-up starting at 8 a.m. on Youth Day at a booth in the Grand Lobby (south side) of the Convention Center Arena.
T-shirts: $15 Sweatshirts $40  --  Available in sizes: S, M, L, XL  --  Special sizes available upon request.
Place your order online at www.Seraph7.com
NOTE: This year, your group can receive their T-shirts in advance of Youth Day! Or if you would like to customize your shirts, email us at store@seraph7.com

SOMETHING NEW FOR YOUTH DAY:  In an effort to enhance the work of the Office of Religious Education in developing youth leaders across the archdiocese and to support the outreach of the Catholic Youth Foundation USA, there will be a collection during liturgies this year at Youth Day. Catholic Youth Foundation USA serves the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry by providing financial resources at the local, diocesan, regional and national levels to promote effective and innovative ministry with adolescents in order to assure a faithful future. We ask that you share this information with young people and adults coming to Youth Day and emphasize how their contribution can continue the formation and education of others. Thank you in advance for your support!

YOUTH DAY TICKETS

Youth Day packets started being mailed on January 28, 2008.

It is important for you to check your Youth Day tickets when they arrive. Please open your packet and make sure your received the tickets for your parish/school. We have gotten calls that some people received the wrong tickets. If, for some reason, you received the wrong tickets please call (213) 637-7348 and we will be glad to help you.
