Held at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 West Katella Ave., Anaheim, Calif. (just across from Disneyland & Disney California Adventure)

UPDATES ABOUT THE 2007 RECongress

Anne Sweeney is unable to attend. Her workshop 2-24 has been cancelled.
Jaime Vazquez Allegue is unable to attend. Replacement speaker to be announced.
Theresa Donohoo is unable to attend.
Workshop 7-18 by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has been retitled: "The Common Good in an Uncommon World" (formerly "The Church Desired by Vatican II")

Congress is looking for a volunteer to help with preparing the environment for the event. This volunteer would be helping with all of the plants and flowers that decorate all of our venues at Congress. This volunteer would be needed on Wednesday, February 28, from 10am until 5pm, on Thursday, March 1, from 7pm until 10pm and on Sunday, March 1, from 3pm until 6pm. If you, or someone you know, is interested in helping in this capacity give Mike Norman at call at (213) 637-7674. Please come help make our worship and prayer spaces at Congress reflect the beauty of our event. Thank you for considering this important role!

Author / Artist Book Signing Schedule published

Authors and performing artists have scheduled times to sign their books and CDs at the Signing Tables. The tables are located near the center of Hall A. Check the posted schedule in the Book Signing area for updates to appearance times.

Congress Reminders:
 • Youth Day registration closed January 12th.
 • Already registered? Pick up your Program Books on March 1, Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
 • Online registration will be available until
February 23, 2007. After that date, anyone wishing to attend Congress can still register on site in Anaheim, beginning Friday, March 31st at 8 a.m.

See our updated list of Closed Workshops for Congress 2007. Closed workshops are removed as possible choices for online registration.

CONGRESS REGISTRATION

The registration fee for the Religious Education Congress is $65 ($55 before the January 5, 2007 early registration deadline). Registration is available online or found in the Registration Guidebook.

Beginning Monday, February 19, we will process registrations received but will no longer mail them. We will hold them in Will Call at Congress. 

If you haven't mailed in your registration by February 16, please either register online or just register on site at Congress.

Online Registration will end February 22 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

YOUTH DAY

The theme song for Youth Day 2007 is now on iTunes! Just go to the iTunes Store and do a search for Curtis Stephan – then look for the song "LIVE OUT LOVE." A special thanks to Curtis for doing such a great job with the song! We are very excited that Oregon Catholic Press has made this possible. You will also notice that the artwork for the song is the logo for our special day!

There is still time to PRE-ORDER Youth Day T-shirts for your group! If you’d like to have these shirts shipped to you before Youth Day you need to order by the end of the work day on Friday, February 16 (by 5pm). If you don’t mind picking up your T-shirts at the vendor booth on Youth Day you can order up to the end of the work day on Friday, February 23 (by 5pm). To order the T-shirts you can go to the website at www.seraph7.com You can also call (951) 734-6495.

YOUTH DAY HAS CLOSED to new registrations on January 12, 2007. Youth Day registration is separate from Congress registration. The fee was $25 ($20 before the January 5, 2007 price increase). THERE IS NO FURTHER REGISTRATION FOR YOUTH DAY; we have reached the facility's capacity. THERE IS NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION.

YOUTH DAY TICKETS

Youth Day packets have all been mailed by February 9, 2007.

It is important for you to check your Youth Day tickets when they arrive. Please open your packet and make sure your received the tickets for your parish/school. We have gotten calls that some people received the wrong tickets. If, for some reason, you received the wrong tickets please call (213) 637-7348 and we will be glad to help you.

If you have registered and did not select workshop choices or you register on-site at Congress you will be assigned Arena workshop tickets. NOTE: All session tickets are good for Arena session and Hall B sessions. Asterisks (*) indicate recorded workshops.

Already registered for Congress? Advance ticket pick-up and RECongress Program Books are available for pick-up. Times begin Thursday evening, March 1, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Regular Congress hours begin at 8 a.m. each day of Congress.
