LABYRINTH: Walking a Sacred Path (Hilton) San Simeon Room Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. & 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m This year Congress offers an opportunity to experience the Labyrinth – an ancient walking meditation practiced in many cultures and faith traditions. We will be waking a Chartres-style Labyrinth, the original of which was built in Chartres Cathedral in the 12th century. It continues to be used as a form of walking meditation today. FILMING AT CONGRESS Friday and Saturday "Catholics in America" This year, a joint venture of Journey Films and Family Theater Productions will be documenting some of our Congress events. The result will be a four-hour public television series exploring the history and contemporary experience of Catholics in America. Alexander Lewis will preside at this "young adult-friendly" liturgy, with Music Directors Joseph Edwards and Vincent Adams. An Associate Pastor at Holy Trinity Parish in San Pedro, Fr. Alexander trilingual – speaking Vietnamese, Spanish and English – and is a popular speaker at our Theology-On-Tap series.
