In the song “Boundless Love,” the first sentence in the Vietnamese lyric, the word ”Chùa” should spelled with the correct accent as “ Chúa.” The incorrect spelling “Chùa” means Buddhist Temple or Pagoda. The correct spelling “Chúa” means God. Also, the words in the second line of music “cân xứng” should be spelled “xứng.”

A Special Invitation for Adults: The Youth Day Coordinating Team would like to offer a special opportunity to any adult who is not chaperoning a group from a parish or school and would like to be part of our day. To be part of the team, an adult needs to have been fingerprinted by the Los Angeles Archdiocese and have taken part in a Protecting God’s Children adult training session (upcoming opportunities for these are available). To get more information about joining Youth Day, please visit archive.recongress.org/YD or contact Victoria Radleigh Smith at vradleigh@la-archdiocese.org or call (213) 637-7674.

It is important for you to check your Youth Day packet when it arrives. Make sure that it includes all the Badges for each Adult Chaperone in your parish/school group and that you have enough badges for each student. We will mail out all Youth Day packets by March 15, 2019. If you do not receive your packet, check your email for a confirmation of your registration with a barcode. Print that email out and bring it with you to the RECongress Registration Area. If you haven't received a barcode confirmation, please visit the Registration Area on site during registration hours for assistance. If you have further inquiries, please call the RECongress Registration Desk at 213-637-7348,

Youth Day packets include Badges for all youth and Chaperones, a badge holder and lanyard for each Chaperone and also information about the day. Scheduled packet mailing dates are:

There are two big relocations for RECongress 2019 that utilize the ACC North building.

Hall B:
ALL Hall B events have moved to the 200 Level — the upper level — of ACC North. Both Youth Day and our Adult Days will utilize the upper level area we call “North Hall.”

Sacred Space:
Sacred Space also moves to the lower level of ACC North. The Chapel and the Labyrinth will move to North rooms 151-152. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available in North rooms 153-156.

Religious Education Congress attendees may purchase specially priced Disneyland Resort Theme Park eTickets prior to their arrival. There is special pricing for Twilight Convention tickets (after 4 pm), 1-day 1-park, multi-day and park hopper tickets. Note: These special ticket prices are not available once you arrive at the Resort. Prices are subject to change without notice. Note for foreign attendees: Please only enter 2 letters in the state/territory field (fill it out with only two letters). Any more than two and the system will not accept it.

These specially priced tickets are intended only for RECongress attendees and their guests. Only registered attendees are allowed to purchase tickets from this discounted ticket store link and can purchase up to 6 tickets maximum per order (two orders maximum per credit card). For orders of more than 12 tickets, we recommend using additional credit cards due to the limit of 12 tickets per card.

Disney reserves the right to contact the ticket purchaser to request event registration confirmation. If it is discovered that the purchaser of the ticket is not participating or attending this event it will be considered a misuse of this offer and ticket, and the ticket(s) will be blocked and will not be eligible for a refund. In addition, these tickets cannot be purchased for the purpose of being resold.

RECongress attendees can find information here about promotional offers and discounts during RECongress with the "Show Your Badge & Save" program. Discounts are exclusively available to attendees during the conference for participating attractions and restaurants. Show your event badge and save at participating restaurants, attractions and much more!

Every RECongress attendee on our adult days receives a souvenir tote bag including a RECongress lanyard, a name badge holder and a copy of the 2019 Program Book. Wells of Life is providing the tote bags. Franciscan Media and Bookmasters – Baker & Taylor Publisher Services are sponsoring the lanyards.

People from more than 140 countries, speaking 224 different identified languages, currently call Los Angeles home. Within the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, liturgy is celebrated every Sunday in no fewer than 40 different languages. Living in the gift, promise and spirit of the Second Vatican Council, the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress liturgies have grown as they have embraced this wonderfully diverse church. Without exaggeration, complimentary reports and reviews come from six of the world’s seven continents. From Gregorian chant to gospel choirs; from Aztec dancers to Vietnamese and African drummers; we’ve worked diligently to inculturate the liturgies at RECongress to accurately and authentically reflect the church of Los Angeles.

See a reflection on the liturgies chosen for RECongress 2019.
