New location - Southeast area of Hall A

 
The Technology Center at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress has a new location this year – in the southeast area of Exhibit Hall A, The RECongress Tech Center is available to both exhibitors and selected companies. Its purpose is to highlight educational software, online services and Internet resources – be it web site or computer-based software – that is of interest to our Congress attendees.

Our Tech Center is in a stage/audience format with two PC-based multimedia computers (with Internet access), a large rear-projection screen behind the presenter on stage, an additional large format plasma screen off to the side.

Sunday at the Tech Center:

ePostcards – On Sunday of Congress (and throughout the weekend when we don't have demonstrations) you can drop by for your FREE ePostcard souvenir of Congress, celebrating 60 years of the event. We had over 200 photos taken last year by those who dropped by the Tech Center for their personalized souvenirs.

1:00 - 2:30 pm Verbum – Lumen, Verbum’s high school textbook series, connects your students to a curriculum based on the USCCB Framework, a library of over 200 supplementary titles, and all the powerful tools of the Verbum study platform.

A/V Technology in the Liturgy

"Audiovisual Technology in the Liturgy: What Are the Benefits, Barriers and Lessons Learned?"
Presented by Daniel Houze (RandomHouze Productions) and Robin Rokisky (Seaton Delta Consulting), this 20-minute video is a discussion on the various uses of A/V technology in the liturgy and how it was done for the first time at the 2010 Religious Education Congress.
