lease pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Anne Bryan Smollin who died unexpectedly Thursday morning, September 25, 2014, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, N.Y. Many know Anne Bryan as an animated speaker at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress. She was scheduled to speak at our upcoming Congress 2015. She has gifted, graced and made us laugh for many years. She will certainly be missed by all of us. Download the Youth Day app for iPhone and iPod Touch now, and it will automatically update itself every year when new versions are released. With this app you can stay up-to-date with all Youth Day speakers, musicians and performers by following them on Twitter, viewing their websites and even finding them on Facebook.
Youth Day is much more than just a one-day experience and this app will allow you to keep with you what each speaker and musician says long after the day is over, and check out their websites and find out how to put everything they said into action.

Download the Primetime 2015 couponThe Religious Education Congress has made special arrangements for airport transportation with Prime Time Shuttle. They offer 24-hour/7-day service between Los Angeles International (LAX), John Wayne (SNA) and Long Beach (LGB) airports. All departures must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Prime Time’s shared ride shuttle fare is reduced by $3 with the discount coupon below. The one-way rate for LAX is $15 per person (discounted rate is $12 per person); the John Wayne one-way rate is $10 per person (discounted rate is $7 per person); the Long Beach one-way rate is $38 for the first person and $10 for each additional person on the same confirmation number (discounted rate is $35 for the first person and $10 for each additional person).

Sept 10: Hotels added - 22 hotels have been added to the Hotels page. We have negotiated special rates with certain hotel properties. To get the quoted rates, be sure to inform the hotel that you are attending the 2015 Religious Education Congress and ask for the Religious Education Congress Group Rate.

The registration fee for the Religious Education Congress was $70 ($80 after January 23, 2015). Registrations by the end of February will receive mailed tickets. Any registrant before March 1 will be mailed If you haven't mailed in your registration by MARCH 1, 2015, please either register online or register on site at Congress (Thursday evening, March 12 from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm; beginning at 7 am on Friday; 7:30 am on Saturday; or 8 am on Sunday each day of Congress.)
After March 1, 2015, we will continue to process registrations and send email confirmations. Tickets can be printed at Congress in the Registration area. Congress ticket pick-up begins Thursday evening, March 12 from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm and the times noted above.
Youth Day has reached capaicty and is closed to new registration. Youth Day registration is separate from Congress registration. The fee was $30 ($35 after January 23, 2015). Check the Youth Day page for more information.
A SPECIAL INVITATION FOR ADULTS: The Youth Day Coordinating Team would like to offer a special opportunity to any adult who is not chaperoning a group from a parish or school and would like to be part of our day. To be part of the team, an adult needs to have been fingerprinted by the Los Angeles Archdiocese and have taken part in a Protecting God’s Children adult training session (upcoming opportunities for these are available).
