The Technology Center at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress is adjacent to the Office of Religious Education booth, located in the center of Exhibit Hall A, The RECongress Tech Center is available to both exhibitors and selected companies. Its purpose is to highlight educational software, online services and Internet resources – be it web site or computer-based software – that is of interest to our Congress attendees.

Our Tech Center is in a stage/audience format with two PC-based multimedia computers (with Internet access), a large rear-projection screen behind the presenter on stage, an additional large format plasma screen off to the side. The Tech Center also offers free Internet access to Congress-goes.

ePostcards — Only on Sunday of Congress can you drop by for your free ePostcard souvenir of Congress. We had over 200 photos taken last year by those who dropped by the Tech Center for their personalized souvenirs.

Liturgical Publications – WeShare is the premier tool to handle your events, registrations, and online donations. Your parishioners can register for events, pay online, and print tickets. Easy, convenient, and flexible for both you and your parishioners.
1:30 - 2:00 pm RCL's Echoes of Faith 3.0 is the most comprehensive tool available for catechist formation. Newly revised and fully interactive, this online design provides flexible learning and communication options for parishes and schools. Come and learn how easy it is to use this cost effective resource to form competent, creative, and confident catechists and religion teachers!
2:00 - 2:30 pm Catholic Communication Collaboration – Since completing the C3 pilot, the Archdiocese has launched a team of five specialists to visit all parishes and schools to help match technology to ministerial needs.

A/V Technology in the Liturgy

"Audiovisual Technology in the Liturgy: What Are the Benefits, Barriers and Lessons Learned?"
Presented by Daniel Houze (RandomHouze Productions) and Robin Rokisky (Seaton Delta Consulting), this 20-minute video is a discussion on the various uses of A/V technology in the liturgy and how it was done for the first time at the 2010 Religious Education Congress.
