The 2007 Los Angeles Religious Education
Congress dates are:
-- March 1, 2007 (Youth
Day)
-- March 2 - 4, 2007
(Congress days)
LOCATION
Congress is held at the Anaheim Convention
Center, located at 800 West Katella Ave. in
Anaheim, Calif. (just across from Disneyland
and Disney’s California Adventure).
FEE
The registration fee for Congress is $55 --
whether you attend for just one day or all
three! (Fee increases to $65 after January
5, 2007)

BY MAIL:
Order the Guidebook or
Download the Guidebook -- use the descriptions and
category guides to select your workshop choices. You may
choose a first and second choice workshop for each of
the eight periods you wish to attend. Fill out the
Registration Form from the back of the Guidebook and
mail it in along with your payment. Tickets will be
mailed after
February 5, 2007.
ONLINE: We recommend you
Download the Guidebook or check our web site for the
Congress 2007 Workshops & Links. Use the
descriptions and category guides to select your workshop
choices. You may choose a first and second choice
workshop for each of the eight periods you wish to
attend. When ready, click the red "Register"
button off our home page at

Interested in attending Youth Day 2007? Then this is
the month to register! Youth Day often reaches
attendance capacity BEFORE the January fees
increase. So plan to register this month for Youth
Day.
GROUP LEADERS -- Youth Day T-Shirts are available
for group pre-orders. Orders must be received by
February 2, 2007 and will be available for pick up
at Youth Day.
A little-publicized project of the Office of
Religious Education has been the establishment of a
Religious Education Endowment Fund to support the
ongoing training and formation of religious
education leaders. The Fund provides scholarships
for catechetical leaders to pursue graduate studies.
The goal is for every Director of Religious
Education and Director of Youth Ministry to receive
a master’s degree in Religious Education/Religious
Studies. Currently 19 graduate students are
benefiting from this fund.
Join us in supporting these and future students
working in ministry by making a donation -- which is
tax-deductible -- when you register online by credit

RECongress 2007 will showcase over 400 exhibit
booths -- ranging from religious art to music, from
publishing houses to educational institutions, in
addition to our own represented Archdiocesan
ministries. You can find an updated listing of our

The Religious Education Congress has again this year
made arrangements for
specially priced One-Day and Multi-Day Disneyland
Resort Theme Park Tickets.
These are pre-arrival purchase tickets for
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure and are
NOT offered at the park ticket booths. Note: The
order cut-off date is February 12, 2007.
Available tickets include:
Twilight Convention Ticket --
Admission valid for one visit to either
Disneyland or Disney California Adventure park
after 4 p.m., or 4 hours before park closing,
whichever is earlier. ("Back and forth"
privileges are not included.)
One-Day/One Park -- Admission
to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure park for one day.
One-Day & Park Hopper --
Admission and ability to visit both Disneyland
and Disney California Adventure park on the
same day for one day. Also available are Two-,
Three-, Four- and Five-Day Park Hopper passes.
