I just want to start a positive thread about DL. I think the flexpass deal has been one of Disney's better idea.
An example of why:
A group of my friends attend the LA diocese Religious Ed Congress each year at the convention center. In the past we always added a day to our trip to visit DL. Once FlexPass was started, we spent all of our free time in the park. We still spend one whole day in the park but the rest of the weekend we hop back and forth. Lousy workshop? skip it and return to the park! The area eateries are always jammed with us 30,000 Catholics so come mealtime we head for the park. I think this has turned out to be a marketing success for DL but also for guests. Without FlexPass we would not return to the park and eat all of our meals there. Yes, the food is more expensive but think what you gain in time spent and the atmosphere is much better than McDonalds! And now with the tram running right across the street from the convention center it is more convienent than ever to go between the two places.
I am not very happy with the new "10 years old? Welcome to adulthood!" but, I do think that with FlexPass everyone wins.
